Dr. Dan Schafer - speaker Faith Promise giving is a biblical method many local churches use to raise financial support for paying World Evangelization/Faith Promise Budgets and our local and district expenses. Faith promise is one of the most meaningful methods for supporting missions. It is not a pledge. A Faith Promise is precisely what it says —- a promise made in faith between an individual and God. That promise is based on what the giver believes God wants them to give to ministries beyond those of the local church. Most persons arrive at their Faith Promise amount following prayer and Bible study time. By listening to the voice of God, we learn what the Holy Spirit wants to do through us to support the mission ministries of our church.
