Senior Pastor - Russ Fairbanks
Pastor Russ is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene who received an undergraduate degree in business from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. He holds a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary and Master of Ministry from MVNU. He has been in ministry for 24 years as a lead pastor for 17 years and youth pastor for 7 years. Russ and Kelly have been married for 21 years and have three children: London, Noah, and Madison. Kelly is a nurse practitioner.
Children's Pastor - Leslie Hart
Pastor Leslie is an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene. She has served as a children’s pastor in several churches running very large scale children’s ministry programs. Previous to joining the staff of MJ Naz she was the Children’s Director for the entire Church of the Nazarene denomination. Leslie and her husband, Bill, have three children.
Assistant Youth Pastor - Brian Price
Brian, a Locally Licensed minister in the Church of the Nazarene, is working toward the aquisition of his District License. Since March 2024, he has been an invaluable member of the MJNAZ staff. Brian is an incredible man of God with a passion for our youth!
Worship, Youth, and Media/PCO Pastor - Jim Patten
Meet Jim, the head of our Worship, Multi-Media, Planning Center, and Youth team! He brings his passion for ministry to everything he does. With 23 years of experience in leadership roles, Jim is a District Licensed Pastor for East Tennessee, and he plays a crucial role in the church organization at MJNAZ.
When he’s not busy crafting worship experiences with the incredibly talented MJNAZ worship team, Jim loves spending time with his lovely wife, Cheryl, and their two fun loving boys, Nathan and Luke.
